President Jonathan undergoes medical check up in London
In the course of his on-going visit to London for a meeting of Nigeria’s Honorary International Investors’ Council, President Goodluck Jonathan became indisposed and could not be present at the opening of the meeting today. President Jonathan has since been examined by competent medical practitioners. He has been advised to rest for a few days.
The Presidency wishes to assure all Nigerians that President Jonathan’s condition is nothing serious and that the medical attention he has sought is only precautionary.

But have you ever wondered what the very first image upload looked like? Well look no further, because the tech site Motherboard has done the digging for you.
In 1992, a picture of the parody band Les Horribles Cernettes, that was digitally altered in Photoshop, earned the distinction of becoming the first Web photo upload.So who are these ladies pictured in the image?
The group of ladies were lab employees who worked for CERN, a research laboratory in Geneva where major discoveries have been made, including the project that started the World Wide Web, created by British computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee.

Yar’Adua Was Poisoned By Obasanjo's Kitchen Staff(See who said it)
Nigeria's Former President Ibrahim Babangida and Professor Ukandi G. Damachi had allegedlly told the United states council that former president Yar'Adua was poisoned by Ex President Obasanjo's Kitchen staff. According to Professor Ukandi G. Damachi who is a friend to the US consul, He told them in secrecy about the alleged poisoning.

“his food was poisoned”, he alleged. Further stating that the president inherited his predecessor, president Obasanjo’s kitchen, and these kitchen staff were likely used to poison Nigeria’s president. The professor further revealed that when president Yar’Adua realized this he fired the Obasanjo kitchen staff. He Said: “There are lots of problems in Nigeria.” The first problem, he said, is the President’s illness; “his food was poisoned”, Damachi alleged.
Asked whether he meant “food poisoning” or that someone had deliberately poisoned the President’s food, Damachi shrugged, replying “The President inherited Obasanjo’s kitchen staff”; Yar’Adua has now fired them all, and the kitchen has been cleaned out following the incident, Damachi said.At the same time, Damachi went on, the President did attend functions on both the Saturday and Sunday preceding his illness and ate some food at both of them.
“What President eats at a function?”, Damachi asked rhetorically. The President was so sick that the day he signed the budget, he was unable to sign a second piece of legislation awaiting his approval…” Late Yar’Adua Yar’Adua was known to have stepped hard on his predecessors toes.
Upon entering office president Yar’Adua, described by his wife as a very honest man who left no wealth behind; seriously went after the reversal of Nigeria’s public assets that his predecessor had sold to his allies, Aliku Dangote and Femi Otedola. “In the weeks leading up to Obasanjo’s departure, Dangote’s privately held company has also scooped up a cement plant, a telecoms licence and mining concessions in a rush of privatisations that has triggered accusations of cronyism by opposition parties.” By July of 2007, barely 2 months into office, Yar’Adua had held meetings with Bureau for Public Enterprises (BPE), to querry the sale of Nigeria’s refineries to Obasanjo’s henchmen, Aliku Dangote and tycoon Otedola.
BPE reportedly justified the sale to Bluestar, saying it was transparent, but the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) faulted it, and maintained that the corporation was capable of running them efficiently. President Yar’Adua “after considering the facts presented to him, the President directed that the sale should be revoked as the exercise was not transparent enough.
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) praised President Yar’Adua for the revocation of the privatization of the refineries.” Dangote And former president Obasanjo Dangote And former president Obasanjo President Yar’Adua, determined to recover Nigeria’s infrastructure and assets coveted by Obasanjo and his cronies, moved on to other government assets. Yar’Adua also suffered from chronic allergic disorder and this was easily attributed to be the direct cause of his death.

According the NET: On Sunday, November 17, 2013, Lagos stood still for Psquare‘s Peter Okoye and fiancée Lola Omotayo as the couple held their traditional wedding ceremony, surprisingly elder brother Jude Okoye was missing. Social network has been buzzing.
The twins’ publicist Bayo Adetu said Jude was missing at the wedding because he was stuck in Ghana. Psquare had performed in Accra, Ghana at the ‘Glo and Bounce Slide‘ tour the night before. Adetu says Jude missed his flight and couldn’t get back to Lagos in time for the nuptials.
But a source who was part of another artiste’s entourage to Ghana for the concert says Jude Okoye did NOT travel to Ghana. ‘We didn’t see him, the twins were here with their band but we didn’t see Jude‘, a source said.
There are few instances pointing to the fact that Jude did not travel with his Pop star twin brothers to Ghana for the concert: Jude, a regular user of photo sharing Instagram never fails to post photos of their trip outside Nigeria – there were no photos of him aboard the airplane heading to GH, photos of the twins performing
at the concert.
One source asks: ‘If he was truly stuck in Ghana, wouldn’t he have even lamented on Twitter like D’banj?‘.
Instead Jude posted a photo of himself and Wizkid in the studio. The picture is believed to have been taken a
night before at the Mavin Records studio where he had been working with Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Phyno and others. Inside sources in the Okoye family revealed that Jude Okoye and a few other family members did not support their brother’s marriage to his baby mama Lola Omotayo. Some sources also also claim their late mother never supported the relationship too.
"Jude and some others don’t like her. They never gave their blessing for the marriage. Paul too, but he is his
twin. Other family members who were there were reluctant to attend. Jude didn’t go because he never supported the idea from day one", a family source tells us.
Some of the Okoye family members have even gone as far as insinuating that Lola Omotayo has allegedly
constantly cheated on Peter Okoye. It was gathered there have been demands for a DNA test to really
ascertain whether his children Cameron and Aliona are truly his. "It’s that serious, they claim Lola sleeps around with her so called ‘uncles’, they want a DNA test done, they just want to protect their brother."
This allegations have not been confirmed, and Adetu insists there are no issues, stressing that Jude was only MIA because he was stuck in Ghana. One of the couple’s friends also told us all these are ‘wicked rumours’.
‘Wicked, false rumours. Nothing can be more false and distasteful. They should leave them alone and let them have peaceful married life…’
