How to Tell if a Guy Likes you - Five Signs He's Interested

How can you tell if a guy likes you or is interested? You noticed him when you were standing and talkingwith a friend. You think he noticed you, but maybe it was your imagination or just wishful thinking. He looked at you at about the same time you saw him. Your eyes met for just a few seconds, and then you looked away. When you looked back up, he was talking with some other people. Was he watching you as you mingled? Or were you making that up? How can you tell if a guy likes you? Why are guys so hard to read?
Here are five signs that he is interested in you too. If any of the following happens, he is probably trying to get close enough to ask you out:

1. He tells someone

Is he interested? He likes you if he tells a mutual friend that he wants to know more about you, or he asks other people who you are and where you're from. He is trying to act like he's "just asking" but his questions indicate more than a casual interest. And when he tells someone that he finds you attractive, he probably knows that it will get back to you. He's hoping it does.

2. The look

He gives you a look that betrays his calm exterior. Even though he is across the room, "that look" he has says it all. It is sweeping, from your head to your toes, and then his eyes linger on yours. You think you notice the beginning of a tentative smile.

3. The conversation

Does he like you? When he manages to get close enough to you, to ask you questions, he is interested. He appears to be listening and responds to what you say. He's moving in to the ultimate question, which is: "Are you seeing anyone." He would only ask this question if he wanted to date you, and he hopes theanswer is "No." Never ever wear a ring in public. When a guy is across the room, he cannot tell which finger it is on and he may assume incorrectly that you are taken. If he doesn't ask you the question of whether or not you are attached, he may ask someone whom you both know.

4. He appears unexpectedly

He likes you a lot if he shows up out of nowhere. He can only do that if he has been asking people about your schedule, or he has been paying attention to where you are going and at what time. His face may turn red when he sees you. A sudden, "Oh, hi," is his way of saying, "I don't want to seem obvious, but I am interested in you." If you feel the same way, do not act shy. Stop and talk to him.

5. EVERYONE likes you

Is he interested? When you are well liked and a happy person, why wouldn't he like you? Of course he does. If you don't have a great life, however, now is your time to start working on one. Take a look at your career possibilities, body image, future, plans, and resources. You may be naturally talented at something, but it won't matter unless you work on your strengths. Misused or unused talents fade away. School and training do not.

These are the five signs that he is interested and he is on the verge of asking you out. Make it easy for him and be friendly. This is where relationships begin.

How To Get Rid Of Pimples Overnight ,For That Flawless Skin

It is true treating pimples needs both patience and persistence, but sometimes time is the thing you are short of. You desperately need them off your face at any cost; the world seems almost cruel otherwise. You almost feel like tearing your hair out thinking of how to get rid of pimples overnight and it is for situations like these that there are over the counter drugs and ointments.

However, just using medicines will not relieve you of the pimples, there are rules you have to follow to make it work out right. There are Dos and Do nots and always remember some things are better left alone, messing with them is not advisable. For example, if you think the easiest way out of your ordeal would be to pop your zits, you are definitely wrong.
Most of the time, overnight pimple cures are just an overblown phrase because an overnight cure for pimples is almost impossible to devise without a change in your lifestyle. Especially if you are used to having a stressful life and you have a biased diet. Try to make it a balanced one including food that would also make it into a cleansing diet. Talking of cleansing, there is no substitute for water, thus make drinking 8-10 glasses of water each day a part of your daily routine.

Some home remedies however can rid you of pimples sometimes overnight and even if not overnight by not more than half a day.
You could use the white of an egg to dab on your pimple. Once left on for around 20 minutes it usually helps and dries up the pimple. Another unique method would be to apply toothpaste; preferably not the gel type on the pimple and it has the same effect.
Cleaning the skin is an essential part of curing pimples and the cleaning needs special care when you need to cure pimples overnight. If you wash your face with a soap enriched with aloe vera it can help you immensely. You could also try cleaning your skin with apple cider vinegar, or a more simple remedy would be to clean it with lemon juice.
Before you start any pimple remedy, you must be sure that the acne is not caused due to an allergic reaction to any food or cosmetics. The cure could otherwise have an adverse effect on the acne.
Your skin is unique and different from everyone else's and therefore you should remember that what works for someone else might not work for you and vice versa. Therefore, it would be advisable if you try out the different methods beforehand to know which one suits you.
You could also pay your family physician a visit, who might just as well recommend you to a dermatologist. Both the doctor and the dermatologist might have ideas that would truly rid you of that pimple overnight.

Chris Brown

Ok. Admit it. You love Chris Brown. I mean, who doesn't? The awesome smile, the sick moves, the baby face, the smooth voice. What guy doesn't want to be him?
However, the things I've heard about him have led me to believe that he isn't as cool and good as we all thought he was. And, yes, I am mainly talking about when he basically almost beat Rihanna down to a pulp months ago.

Chris raised eye brows everywhere when he did this. It even put his career in jeopardy when people realized how bad he beat that poor woman. He lost lots of fans, but gained a new name: "Woman Beater."

I don't know about you, but some people have really stopped supporting him by not listening to his music. Some radio stations have banned his songs. Others won't download his music or even bother with him anymore. And why? Because that night he showed people his true colors.

Yeah, he had to go to court. And yes he has to do community service. And yes he may have apologized. But behind closed doors you don't know what's happening. And seriously does any of that really change anything?

Personally, I'll admit it. I still listen to his music. I like his music. I think he brings something different to the music industry that no one else can. But that doesn't change the fact that what he did was wrong. My thing is: Does his music really have anything to do with what he did? I mean, put all his music and his albums and his records aside and look at the real picture. He abused a woman. That has nothing to do with his singing or dancing or anything.

I'm not saying what he did was ok either. Me being a Girl and all, I think it was stupid of him and totally wrong. To me, it shows how weak and puny he is. For him to beat on a girl like that shows that he really has no heart or strength in him what so ever.

So, I want to hear from you guys. Do you still listen to his music and support Chris Brown, even if he did do what he did? Do you think it matters? Do you care?

The Good, Bad, and Ugly of Celebrity Worship This work is considered exceptional by our editorial staff.

In a study in more than 600 people, psychologists found that one in three participants consider themselves moderate to advanced celebrity worshippers (Horovitz); and those undaunted people do not bare shame admitting it. I divulge that I include myself as a part of that 1/3 who mildly delve into gossip magazines and reality TV shows of those rich, famous, and oh-so unattainable ones we call celebrities. Face it—society is star-struck. Media coverage continually reaches new heights as we voluntarily support them in engulfing ourselves in celebrities’ daily lives. Society accepts celebrity worship as a controlling and ongoing phenomenon, and like everything else, it is, too, guilty of its good, bad, and ugly side.
Fascination with boundaries; no wrongdoing transpires with fascination in its boundaries. People who show interest in the lives of celebrities but also involve themselves in meaningful relationships and activities appear among the harmless in the sea of worshippers; common sense proves that people naturally take interest in what or who society spotlights. No crime attributes when indulging oneself in a little guilty pleasure involving the gossip and scandals in celebs’ lives, for they appear before the public eye; the fundamental purpose of their fame exists for that reason, right? Many celebrities possess the power to encourage us in making constructive changes in our own lives in response to their positive messages. When someone reveres another for their feats, those exciting exploits spurn fans onto their own gains. These powerful, influential celebrities encourage voting and raise funds for natural disaster victims; they create and finance charities, all the while stimulating economic growth. The supply of this particular ruling media depends on the demand for celebrities, and in today’s society that demand appears rather high.
A fine line exists in the practice of celebrity worship in where harmless fascination crosses over to destructive obsession. When fans become more concerned with the lives of celebrities than the current events of their own, problems begin to arise. Depression, anxiety, and a decrease in self-esteem occur as just a few potential problems that result from one’s focus and energy withdrawn from their own life and onto the life of someone else. “Follow the leader” no longer exists as only a children’s game; our DNA inherently accepts the principle that when leaders develop, followers ensue (Lagorio). A false reality arises for most fans when promoted celebrity worship goes prominently wrong. Celebrity triumphs can portray to young ones that fame and fortune actually come easily; from that ideal the principle of discipline, fortitude, and hard work built beneath the success lacks understanding.
As mentioned before, sometimes fans go to further extremes to be akin to their idols; some even venture further. These fans begin to figuratively substitute their own life with the life of their esteemed icon. Obsession now transforms into delusion and from here it gets ugly. That fan becomes The Superfan, forming crazed connections to ones they believe they know and living vicariously according to their lives. These worshippers do not tread lightly but severely invade in and on what goes on with their fixated idol. Many times the superfan will engage in stalking the celebrity and in return gets smacked with a restraint order, only further spiraling their unfilled, underachieved, and unstable desires. In these ugly situations, these superfans become addicts, addicted to the frenzy of their false-existing realisms.
In all societies, past and present, people find the need to blame another. In a case of extreme celebrity worship gone wrong, who is to blame? Although we cannot assume one single straightforward answer, one controversial question still remains: is this celebrital worshiping age a phenomenal result of the good, the bad, and the ugly of those whom we dub celebrities, or is the prime factor the result of the persistent subsistence of that fan? Some pick at society, some the media, and others even question the fault of the celebrities themselves in their pursuit of never-ending attention and fame.

The Symbol of Childhood

I remember when I was younger and every Christmas Eve I would wait up all night, looking out my bedroom window, awaiting Santa Claus’ arrival. This happened every Christmas until one year; I realized Santa was only a made-up character.
About a month before Christmas in the year 2002, I found out that Santa was not real. In class, when we were having a holiday party, I went to go get a coloring page from the front of the room. I could choose from a Christmas tree, teddy bear, snowman, or Santa. I chose Santa and was very excited. I was going to leave him this coloring page along with a note saying thank you. I had my entire page planned out until a friend of mine walked over to me and said, “You’re coloring a Santa picture?” I replied, “Yes, and I am going to give it to him along with a note.” My friend then went into how his big brother told him that Santa was not real. Parents are the ones that buy all the presents and leave them under the tree. I did not believe this for one minute. I asked a few of my other friends and some adults. Some said that he was real, others said he was not. It made sense of how parents could leave the presents under the tree so I stuck to that story for a while. A few days later, when I was shopping with my dad, we went down a Christmas decoration aisle. He grabbed a Santa stuffed animal off the shelf and asked if I wanted it. I looked down and said no, Santa is not real. My dad was speechless for a few minutes until he tried to recover from the sudden Santa denial coming out of an eight year olds mouth. He couldn’t and from then on, I knew for a fact Santa was merely an imaginary figure that all children believe in during Christmas time.
The year I discovered Santa was not real, Christmas did not seem the same. It felt as if I lost a member of my family. I sent letter after letter to Santa every year. I waited up for him at night. I left reindeer food out on my front lawn. And, I made sure he got the largest cookies and the biggest glass of milk. Now that I do not believe in Santa anymore, it is hard to be in the Christmas spirit. Santa was the only thing I looked forward to during the holidays, besides the gifts. I have been asked by younger children if I believe in Santa. I have always replied yes and will continue to reply yes. Santa is a symbol of childhood that will live with me forever.

I don't like Lady Gaga.

Blasphemy alert. I’m a sixteen year old American girl and I don’t like Lady Gaga. And no, it’s not because I don’t like her music, her costumes, or her performances. I just don’t like being manipulated.

Actually, I lied. It’s partly her music, costumes, and performances. But not so much because they’re hideous or outrageous or tiresome. But looking back at those pictures of her as a “normal” girl and seeing what and who she is now, it’s almost insulting. The fact that this girl had to change into something almost non-human to finally get noticed is unsettling, at best. She’s instead this cold, faceless force. No one noticed her when she was trying to “make it”. But then the fame machine (monster, she calls it?) seemed to eat her up and spit out an entirely new person, repackaged and revamped to “shock” us all.

And in the end, it really isn’t even that shocking. It’s almost a little pathetic (and you’ll see what I mean by insulting) when it seems that the state of the nation’s youth has degenerated so much that we need a woman in a mask and sparkling breasts to tell us that we’re all okay. Okay to be different, okay to be loved, the whole package. Because then we really aren’t, are we?

She's been quoted as saying, “I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels. I'd never give up my wigs and hats for anything.” I'm afraid that this mentality about possessions and image, to her millions of female fans, is dangerous. She speaks almost as if these material things are as vital to life as water is. This is the same woman who says that “I'm always saying something about art and music and fame. That's why you don't ever catch me in sweatpants.” She claims that her style and her persona is for art, and yet, it begs the question if she ever does anything for herself. She makes herself a martyr for the love of her fans. And if she is as passionate as she says she is about new frontiers in art, why are the vast majority of her lyrics about sex and money?

I'm not asking her to be anything different, not exactly. Give me a David Bowie reincarnate, an rebel in the music industry. But give me a little more complexity, a little more beauty, a little more thought than just what's on the outside. Give me another facet than just the freaky hair and makeup and clothing, because if that’s all there is, her opinion about simply being yourself is lost somewhere in the jumble of cosmetics and oversized sunglasses. But most of all, give me a break.

from her tongue to god's ears.

There are shrines erected in her name; her face plastered on every piece of plastic shit that can be sold.

I see her everywhere. Born of a one-hit-wonder, she has somehow managed to shove herself into every face of the American public.

She is the rotten apple my mother refuses to throw away. "It's still good," she says, "Look it is only a tiny bit brown," and just as my mother thrusts this wrinkled, brown-spotted, (unknown liquid) oozing, undeniably rotten apple into my face, so Hannah Montana is left to sit and rot before the eyes of every person who does not scream her name.

I can understand a tweenager infatuation with a pop star. I mean we all went through that phase, right? We all bought "...Baby One More Time" and bobbed our heads to the repetitive hits of Britney, Christina, or whoever else was on the radio. But I fear that the MIley Cyrus phase might be more than... well, a phase.

I mean others have been popular, yes, but I can't remember spotting their face in every corner of the Wal-Mart. She's only a kid after all, is it really necessary for her to be worshiped in this manner?

It just seems as though she is a bit more obsessed over than is healthy... I mean .... I'm writing about her right now. Is there no escape?

Something about it just feels wrong. But all things have their season... So even Hannah Montana will eventually be put to rest. At least I hope she will... Or like an apple about to rot, she will be left in the fruit bowl for a little too long.

Clebrities

Celebrities of today are getting worse and worse. I don’t think that they understand exactly how much influence they have on people. Whenever they do something, the whole world is watching and some are influenced that whatever they are doing is acceptable. Why else would they do it?

Teenagers are regularly diagnosed with eating disorders. In many cases, they say that it was influenced by celebrities. Many models and celebrities today have started unhealthy habits. Some people refuse to believe that disorders such as bulimia and anorexia are unhealthy and can harm you because they want to look like today’s celebrities.

Another thing that teenagers are sometimes influenced to do by celebrities is drugs. Artists such as Amy Winehouse have even made songs about rehab and drug addiction. I think it is great that they have been to rehab, but it does not always keep them clean, especially when they do not stay for more than a day or two.

Another big problem with celebrities is their use of alcohol. In the past two years, there have been several cases in which celebrities have had a DUI charge. In addition, there have been many photographs of celebrities out partying while being under the influence of alcohol.

Some teenagers of today need help to learn that just because celebrities have an eating disorder, drug or alcohol addiction, or even a baby, it is not always OK to follow their example and strive to be just like them. There are also some celebrities whose morals set them apart and they have a positive influence on people. I just think that it is important for the youth of today to choose their celebrity role model carefully. You should first make sure that what they are doing is healthy and positive and that it will not get them into any trouble. If it gets them into trouble, it will probably get you into even more trouble.

Paris Hilton Goes to College!

Paris Hilton Goes to College!
Jack Knowsalot

MASSACHUSETTS— It seems that Harvard Law School has a new member enrolled into its program. “I can’t believe I gotsted accepted. That’s so hot,” said Paris Hilton, seeming excited to get the news she’s accepted. Paris Hilton got accepted from her amazing ACT scores. “Yeah the teachers just, like, let me, like, just take the whole ACT test, like, home, and everyone else had to take it at some public thingy. That’s so hot. I got a 15. I guess the lower the numbers the better,” said Hilton.

We all know Harvard is one of the hardest schools to get in to. You cannot only be a 4.0 student to get even acknowledged for Harvard, but you have to be in many social clubs. Only 9% of extremely intelligent students are accepted each year. “My daddy bought, like, the whole school for me. So it was pretty impossible for me, like, not to get entered. That’s so hot,” said the awfully confident Hilton.

It seems that the life of the rich and the famous is very difficult these days. Sometimes you just forget things like, Wall-mart. Shouldn’t it sell walls? Well, the talented Hilton thought so, “I mean I went there with my super hot friends, looking for super hot wall stuff, and there wasn’t any hot wall stuff. I was bummed.”

Paris shared with me what she has learned throughout her college career, which has been a whole two weeks. “I learned that a two and a two is something ballerinas dance with. That’s so hot; I think I’m going to have to buy one for myself. Make it my own trend,” Hilton said, “I have thought really hard about this, and when I grow up, I want to become a rocket surgeon!”

Teens Pain = Success ?

Whenever there are interviews with celebrities or successful people on tv, they always say how hard their childhood was, how they had no friends at school, and got made fun of constantly. They say it only made them a stronger person and gave them the determination to keep going.
For example, we watched a movie on the biography of Charles Dickens today and he asked the man he was speaking to about his inspiration for writing, if he has had any pain in his life, because that is how he found his writing, in his misfortunes as a hardworking child with parents in debtor's prison. I mean, I understand that there are many people who have been through rough times in things such as abuse, rape, divorce, or just didn't have many friends in school, but there are only so many of those people out there, ya know? So tom me it always make me wonder, do I have to have a sucky childhood to be successful? I somewhat think that most of these people are exaggerating a lot.
But I've always wanted to hear an interview from the point of view of the people who went to school with them and supposedly made fun of them. I want to hear their perspective about their 'old classmate who became famous.' What were they really like? Do they listen to those celebrities say that stuff and think, "What a bunch of bull?"

Stop and Think

How come in the world we live in, little kids are encouraged to be deathly thin, and act like stuck up little children, cause that's how the celebrities act. Celebrities like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, all those celebrities who are in it for the money, who stay out partying all night, drinking themselves silly and in turn doing things they will probably regret when they're sober for about two seconds, and then read about themselves in the tabloids. They know nothing about what's happening in the world around them, and barely even know about what's happening in their own country.
Then there are the few celebrities, who aren't totally famous, or hey! Maybe they are really famous. They care about what's happening around them, don't just care about the stupid money involved in the entertainment industry. They care about the music. Okey, you can probably guess that I care more about the music industry then to acting industry or so on, but that's just me.
This quote by Ville Valo really kind of sums up what I'm trying to say.

"Music for me is an emotional thing and it really does make me happy. It's not a tool for me to get fame or see my face in the papers or anything like that. It's about the fact that I really do enjoy it. " - Ville Valo

I know I am getting pretty... testy about this subject but it's something I strongly believe in. When there are people out there, higher in the food chain then you are, that party and forget about life issues, try and find your own Ville Valo, someone you can look up to for their music, or acting, or writing, or whatever interests you. Remember that there are talented people in the world, people who care about what they are doing, not just the money.
And no matter how much fame and publicity the girls like Paris and Nicole are getting just for fighting, having kids and relationships, and partying, do you hear about anything good about them? You hear about the latest fight, you hear about "Paris Hilton's Wild Night Out!". But think about it, have you evur looked at the front page of a magazine and have it say something like, "(Insert Celebrity Name Here) Cares About The (enter entertainment of your choice here) Not The Money!"
If so, please contact me cause I wanna check out this magazine. Think about it, people like Ville are working on their music while people like Jessica Simpson (Or little sister Ashley, as I have previously stated I don't like) are out partying. Please just think about this.

Miley Cyrus

How would you feel if everywhere you went, everything you did was documented? Would you crack under pressure, would you rebel, would you hide? That’s what Miley faces everyday and every day she isn’t perfect she’s human, yet we give her crap for everything she does like she is perfect, like she can’t make a mistake! So when she does make a mistake can you blame her? For one thing she’s a teenage girl, that’s enough to deal with on it own. For another she has billions of fans looking up to her, wanting to imitate everything she does. Yet she survive and toughs it out, she takes the mental and emotional stress just to please her fans! For that I admire Miley Cyrus, do I want to be like her “oh no” I want to make my own mistake! But do I want to imitate her bravery and passion for everything she does? Yes! I also want to thank her for putting up with what she does. Like I say every one has to have someone to hate.
Miley Cyrus what do I think I know about her : she dating a 20 year old, her best friend is a bad influence, she took and still takes naked photos, Nick Jones broke her heart, Selena Gomez stole her ex boyfriend.
What I do know about her is: she loves her fans, her personal cell phone is often hacked, Nick Jones broke her heart, she’s friends with a 20 year old, she loves animals, and she loves acting and singer and lives under a microscope.
Is she dating a 20 year old we don’t know nor should we know, that her business! Is her best friend a bad influence probably not (I sure Miley was rise with a good judge of character)! Does she take naked pics we don’t knows and frankly who cares (what she does in private is her business)! Did Nick break her heart yes (everyone gets their heart broken)! Did Selena steal Miley boyfriend 1. Miley and Nick are over it so she didn’t steal anything, 2. How do we even know Selena and Nick are together?
Bottom line: Don’t judge Miley Cyrus harshly because her fans will kick your butt and because you don’t know what it’s like to be her!

Kelly Rowland: US X Factor hopefuls are 'crazier' than in UK

Kelly Rowland insists contestants on US 'X Factor' are more "crazy" and "delusional" than the hopefuls on the UK show.
Kelly Rowland thinks US 'X Factor' contestants are "crazier" than in the UK.
The 32-year-old singer is a judge on the stateside version of the hit talent show following her one-series stint as a panellist on the UK programme in 2011, and she claims hopefuls across the pond are more "delusional" than their UK counterparts.
When asked about the difference between the shows' contestants, Kelly - who joined Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and Paulina Rubio to judge the third season of the US 'X Factor' this year - she said: "We get all the crazies. It seems like all the crazies just want to be in America.
"They want to come up there and not know the song, they want to come up there and sound like they're howling and calling for cats, they want to come up there and they're dressed in rainbow costumes ... they are delusional, like literally delusional.
"Like a woman came up there and she said, 'Oh I'm the queen of such and such,' and Simon says, 'Well, where are your bodyguards?' So we start asking questions and you saw those devil horns come out. She's like, 'I'm going to kill you.'
"As soon as they open up their mouths it's almost like, 'Who are your friends? Why are your friends telling you to come on here to make a fool of yourself?' It's just ridiculous."
Luckily for the contestants, Kelly can relate to the pressures of the competition after she "lost really bad" on talent show 'Star Search' in her younger years.
Speaking on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' last night (28.10.13), she said: "We were I think about 12 years old, 12 and 13 years old. Myself and Beyonce, and other members of the group at that time. And basically we lost.
"We went up against this 30-year-old rock band who were great - but we were actually better.
"So the curtains close after we lost and we're like - you know we really lost bad. So as soon as we got back to the hotel rooms our parents say you know you guys can go to Disneyland so we were like okay let's go!"

What's In A Name?

Recently I read an article on Yahoo! which stated that Fall Out Boy heartthrob Pete Wentz and pop/rock princess Ashlee Simpson-Wentz named their son Bronx Mowgli. I'm not sure whether my initial reaction was more pity for the kid or wonder at why the couple chose to name him after the hood in New York (he's from Illinois, she's from Texas), and the boy in Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book".
Why do people name their kids the way they do? Sometimes the child is given a family name, or they are named after a person or place that is significant to the parents. Oftentimes a child's name is chosen because the parents simply like the way a name sounds.
Names don't seem to mean as much now as they did in the past. In the Bible, a person's name reflected his personality or some other characterisitc of him. Today we know less and less about the meaning and origin of names. Does this mean that names are losing their significance?
Over the years I have collected miscellaneous note cards, bookmarks, etc., with the meaning of my name printed on them, which according to varied sources is "loved one", "cherished one", or "pure one". But my parents chose to name me Kara not because of any of those things, but because my dad had said that if they ever had a daughter, he wanted her name to be Kara. So that's my name.
There are several names that I would take into consideration for the children I hope to have someday. A couple of them remind me of other people, but most of the names I just like. Should I research the meaning behind the names? Maybe, but that might be difficult and unreliable, especially since I like sort of trendy names. Even though the meaning and origin of a name might be unknown, will I think twice before naming a kid something really trendy? Most definitely. I'll just remember Bronx Mowgli Wentz. :)

A Negative Influence

The Glamorization of Hollywood has a negative toll on both celebrities and the ordinary citizens of America. From shooting a movie to winning the covenant Oscar there are many stresses in a celebrities life (except getting papered at every whim). One might agree that after reading the latest issue of 'Peoples Magazine' that the stars of Hollywood are over expressed in the appalling collage of what America looks up to. For every 'well-behaved, fun loving, violence abstaining' star there are at least three counter-parts. Lindsey Lohan at twenty has been in rehabilitation twice; Jamie Lynn Spears has already given birth at sixteen, and at twenty- six Paris Hilton is behind bars. What kind of message does this send to the younger generation of America or needless to say, the whole world. It is what some might refer to as 'the good life'. Why must a 'good life' be full of booze, going to jail and making a substandard statement?

As America turns on the television to the news channels, there are many journalists that are always talking about Hollywood. Every action a celebrity makes is broadcasted to the wide world, good or bad. If an ordinary citizen that goes to work, cooks their own meals, and even rubs their own feet, were to kiss someone not a single soul would know about most likely. But if a panjandrum where to kiss another person it would make headline news. What kind of influence does this have on a six year old? Quite frankly, it influences them to start negative habits from a younger age. This lucid media informs the younger generation that it IS okay to go and get pregnant at the age of sixteen, and go illegally drink under the age of twenty-one. As the younger generation grows into their teen years all of this news will agglomerate into their minds, molding a series of teens that will indeed be a negative influence. This is an alarming subject that needs to be altered, fast.

According to Audrey Tautou, 'In France, we have a law which doesn't allow the press to publish a photo that you didn't approve. It lets the paparazzi take the picture, but if they publish this picture, you have the choice to sue the newspaper. So me, I always sued them.' This law would be a superlative way to reduce the influence of Hollywood. Unfortunately, it would contradict our first amendment right of the 'Freedom of Press'. It is that very concept that allows America to be influenced by actions of others but yet is a way to teach people about others.

There are many things that influence people: The news, parents, and other things that people look up to. Why not take a stride to make America a less influential country? It would be worth the while and it is our younger generation that will be controlling our 'Land of the Free' when we grow older. So turn off the television and the other sources of negative influence and try to sculpt a more perfect society.

Celebrities and Their Influence

Living in a technological era, we have access to the tabloids more than ever before. There are television sets, magazine covers, Internet blogs, and movies screaming to be read and watched, and they are plastered with images of these tacky celebrities. When a life of parties, short-term relationships, drugs, and alcohol are leading celebrities like Britney, Paris, and Lindsay to spiral out of control, you would think that their lifestyle is not ideal. But, fans of these stars disagree. Now, in an age where we have more contact with celebrity gossip than we have ever had, we are faced with a question: what are the effects that superstars have on our youth? Celebrities influence fans to be destructively thin, put harmful substances in their bodies, and many parents are concerned with the overall content these celebrities are putting on television, in movies, and over the Internet. Pop culture idols need to think twice before making a poor decision or practicing awful morals because of their influence on their young fans and other people who may look up to them.

Based on a recent Newsweek poll, 77% of Americans believe that celebrities have too much of an influence on young girls. This effect is especially evident in their appearance and attitudes. One poll participant, a first grade teacher, even noticed her students using derogatory language, singing suggestive song lyrics, and even flirting with each other. With celebrities creating impossible standards of beauty, more and more young adults are feeling 'less confident, more angry, and more dissatisfied' with their looks (National Institute on Media and the Family). Based on a poll, 40% of nine and ten year-olds had tried losing weight and at age thirteen (Body Image and Gender Identity, 2002), 53% of girls were unhappy with their image (National Institute on Media and the Family). Now, this cannot all be blamed on the media, but with celebrities becoming thinner and thinner, much self-confidence is lost and images of television stars or models have been connected to body displeasure (National Institute on Media and the Family). Stars need to be concerned about their image because of the unpleasant fact that it causes young fans to strive to be unhealthily thin. The National Institute of Mental Health estimates that eating disorders affect more than five million Americans a year, with disorders usually beginning in the teens or as early as eight. Celebrities should stay at a safe weight to insure their health and the effects their weight has in influencing their younger viewers.

Based on the latest Kaiser Family Foundation survey, two in every three parents feel that their children are being exposed to too much inappropriate content in the media. Where does this concern come from? 34% of parents stated that they believe that television contain the most inappropriate content. With television shows today including sexual content, violence, and adult language, children are exposed to unsuitable matter for their ages. Since many parents work and are not always at home, kids have access to shows, movies, and the internet blogs that can tell them things that should be left for parents to explain. There is no possible way to end this media frenzy, but experts say that 'attentive parents, strong teachers and nice friends are an excellent counterbalance,' (Newsweek, 2007) to pop culture garbage. Stars need to be more aware of their images because some are allowing younger fans content that many parents do not want their child seeing.

Celebrities do not only have a negative impact on the looks and personalities of fans, but also in their health. With superstars like Kate Moss taking insane amounts of drugs, Amy Winehouse checking into rehab again, and movie stars lighting up their cigarettes on screen, there has to be some effect on their admirers. 88% to 92% of the top twenty-five box office hits since 1995 have contained tobacco use. Celebrities have glamorized smoking in the media and are setting an example for supporters everywhere that it is acceptable to smoke. Pop culture icons need to support a drug free program instead of using harmful substances. Programs like Above the Influence, run by the Office of National Drug Protection, use the media for good instead of making drugs and alcohol seems acceptable to use. Stars should make it a goal to refrain from using drugs and drinking excessive amounts of booze because it sends a message to fans that a life of drugs and alcohol is a satisfactory way to live.

Celebrities need to change the way they act and how they are viewed. Their actions have more of an effect on us then many people believe they have. Thin, addicted celebrities are changing the way many young fans think and act. Celebrities need to change these horrible habits now and realize that they need to be more concerned with themselves and with their portrayal in the media.

TRUE STORY:How This Lady Was Forced To Make Love With A Dog And A Horse For Money

When the Internet first came to the continent of  African society, most people were  very pleased with it because it reduces stress of communication with love around the world,it also serve as productive purposes like communication. It served many people for chatting, sending mails and even business. As the time passed by many ladies discovered that they could use the internet to find a chat friend or a life partner. Some girls have greatly benefited just by using the internet to find their dream marriages or relationships. Others have fallen into traps in the West and wish they would never have known what the internet was. This is the case of one Cameroonian,Elvire Axelle Tchamakoua. Continue...

Axelle is pr00stit-te who is pimped to various men by her main man Jean Claude(French Businessman). She did not mind serving her customers from the front or from behind. The use of condoms during her encouters was the allowed as it brings more money to the table for her and her main man.She has been doing this job for quite a while and was used to this. The shocking part of it is that,Axelle is a 24 year old girl with a Formal Training Certificate in Esthetics and Beauty. Why a young lady in her age would wish for fast cash is the question many people are asking.

According to report Axelle met her pimping Boss,Jean Claude on the Internet in October 2011.They had a normal chat like every other person would have when chatting with a stranger. Jean Claude told her he was a Businessman based in Marseille (France)and was into import and export busness. Axelle who thought she had found the love of her life continued her communication with Jean Claude Fayard and on March 2012 he came to visit her in Cameroon. There was a huge celebration at Axelle´s Aunt´s Residence at Santa Barbara in Yaounde. Two days in Cameroon,Jean Claude proposed to Axelle and got married to her in both traditional and Legal Ceremonies. Both marriages took place on the 18th and 20th of March 2012 respectively.

Jean Claude made all travelling arrangements and the both of them flew to France on the 21 of March that same year.He even gave Axelle´s family the sum of 600.000FCFA for their up keep. Not knowing that they were selling their daughter into s3x slavery, the family happily bid the couple goodbye as they left for France.

The truth of the matter was that Jean Claude is a pimp who goes to Africa and picks up girls to come and work as s3x slaves for him in France. Since Axelle did not know about this, she would wish she never used the internet in her life.As the couple arrived France, they lived in a town called Clermont Ferrand for about 9 months after which they moved to a new place called Lourdes. It is in this place that Axelle had the worst experience of her life.

A few days after their arrival to Lourdes,a man knocks on the door saying he wants to see Jean Claude.Little did Axelle know that,he would be her first client who had already paid into her husband´s bank account. When Axelle called her husband´s attention to the guest, she was shocked when her husband told her to do whatever the guest tells her to do.

A few days later after coming home from work,Jean Claude sits Axelle and laid down the rules and regulations of the job.He told her she has to pay back all the money he spent on her in Cameroon. He calculated the amount to be more than 3,000 euros and she will also be working for him for the next two years. Axelle who became speechless thought she was dreaming. It was  worse when Jean Claude collected her personal belongings and all her documents. She was also prohibited from making any calls to the outside world.

Every day she had male customers who would come for her service taking her from front and behind all the time. She was mandated to do whatever they wanted. They would not use any protection during intercourse. One day Jean Claude came home with a customer accompanied by a dog.The man whose name is Loiseau had deposited some money into Jean Claude´s account. Axelle who didn't see this coming was pushed into the room and forced to have s3x with the dog which she did. It is said that Jean Claude made more money when Axelle sleeps with an animals so these deals became the order of the day.

After her encounter with the dog, Jean Claude left with Mr Loiseau leaving Axelle alone in the house. After numerous trials, she broke down the door and ran into the street where she met a Cameroonian couple living in the town. They helped her to get to the Embassy where she narrated her ordeal. The Police was immediately dispatched to Jean Claude´s house where they found evidences linking him to kidnapping and other serious allegations. Jean Claude was immediately arrested and is waiting for judgement.Meanwhile Axelle flew back to Cameroon and was immediately taken to the hospital for further examinations and treatments.

See what the Internet can do to the youths of a country. all that glitters are not  Gold, my dear brothers and sisters. If some of you could hear the stories of some Africans in the Diaspora, you will not envy them at all. After everything, home is the best even when our government and politicians fail us.What do you guys think.I need your contributions.

Teen Kills Self After Parents Ban From Facebook! read full gist here...

A teenager who killed herself after her parents banned her from Facebook left a note for a devastated family saying she couldn't live without the site. Aiswarya Dahiwal, a second year college student from Parbhani, in the Maharashtra state of India, had asked her parents for permission to log on to the site on Wednesday, but they said no.

The teenager then got into an argument with the couple who told her that she should pay more attention to school work, and spend less time on Facebook. The family also argued about Miss Dahiwal making long mobile phone calls to her friends.

Her body was found on Thursday morning, and police said that she had hanged herself.

A note found in Miss Dahiwal's bedroom said that she had taken her own life because she was not allowed to go on the social networking site.

Police said that in the note the teenager had said that she couldn't stay in a home with the restrictions she felt she was being placed under, and that she couldn't live without Facebook.

Speaking the Wall Street Journal in India her father Sunil said the family was in 'deep shock' and that he 'never thought she would ever take such a harsh step.'

A case of accidental death has been registered by Indian officials and an investigation is underway.

According to the Wall Street Journal, a recent survey found that nearly 92 percent of India's high school students prefer to use Facebook rather than make calls to communicate.

REVELATION: HOW PASTORS AND IMAM COME TO ME TO CONSULT IFA

This is a very shocking revelation coming from Prominent ifa priest, Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon in this latest interview with Our correspondent...

SEE WHAT HE SAID BELOW...

Do you think that you could one day be converted to Islam or Christianity?

That one cannot happen. I have a deep understanding of the Bible and Quran and I also have a good understanding of Ifa but I cannot renounce Ifa. Christians and Muslims scare people with hell fire but I want you to listen to my CD on who will go to hell fire. They say that you will go to hell fire if you are not a Christian or a Muslim, but I am not afraid of hell fire because I am not a wicked person. I know what you can do that will take you to hell fire and I don’t do such things.

What will now pursue me to be converted to Christianity or Islam? There is no problem that Ifa cannot solve. A lot of Christians, even pastors and Imams come to consult Ifa and use Ifa to solve their problems. But because we believe in fidelity, it is forbidden for me to start mentioning their names. It is confidential just like medical doctors don’t disclose the ailments of their patients to just anybody.

Pastors and imams come to me and I prepare a lot of things for them. I use my Ifa knowledge to solve their problems. So, how am I supposed to go to them? Just this afternoon, a leader of a church came here wearing a native dress, you can’t know that he is a pastor but I know.

How This Female varsity undegraduate dies after sleeping with dog(SEE)

Uche(her surname withheld) was an Accountancy part time student of a Federal University, before her d--th recently. She was one of the happening babes in town, although she likes doing her things in her own little way. In fact, a lot of her course mates doesn’t know her because she was quiet and she doesn't talk to anyone in her class. She’s from Imo State; her father is late while her mother is a petty trader in the village.

CONTINUE AFTER THE CUT...

It was gathered that uche,  is from a poor back ground, but she struggled to make ends needs and to also send her younger ones to school, through the money she got from her many men friends. Uche stayed with her friend in a duplex around Wuse 2, and she drove a Honda car, before she met a guy who changed her life completely, but who eventually used her for rituals. One of Uche’s friends revealed to us how she confessed to her before she breathed her last about 2 months ago.

Uche,we learnt met an America based guy in one restaurant in Abuja. Roland spoilt her  with money and gift; he even bought for her, an exotic car and promised to marry her. She was very happy that she has finally met the man of her dream, especially considering the fact that the guy also hails from the same place with her. Few weeks after Uche met Roland, she started spending almost every day with him.

Roland spent 6 weeks in Nigeria before going back to the United States; he even gave Uche an engagement ring that she flaunts before her friends. Uche kept most of the things she shared with Roland to herself until she fell ill and went to about 3 hospitals, where she was told there was nothing wrong with her. One of her friends who stayed with her, later took her to a white garment church in Kubwa,a suburb of Abuja. The Prophet, we gathered saw vision about her predicament and advised Uche to confess what has happened to her or else she will die, initially she didn’t want to talk but after much persuasion from her friends, she did.

She said, Roland likes adventure, so he suggested they should do some nasty things. She said Roland had a dog he cherishes, and he suggested she sleeps with the dog while he watches her, she said she doesn't want to do it, but later she had s3x with the dog, her friend further revealed that,Uche was angry after the s3x with dog show, but Roland begged her and gave her a car key(Infinity Jeep), assuring her nothing will happen to her.

Roland left the country the following day, and promised to start processing her papers to come to the United States once he gets back to U.S. Uche’s friend and the prophet called the guy but the number didn’t exist. They also asked her for the address of Roland’s house in Abuja but they didn’t get the address she described. The Prophet advised she should be taking back home while she beg God to save her, because she has been used for rituals. Uche died few days later.

Ladies be warned all that glitters are not gold, just because you want to luxury of life so fast and cheat should not result to endangering your life....
